The Muffler Place

4th of July. Traveling from Conway, SC, I was coming over the bridge when loud noise started coming from under my jeep. Pulled over after bridge to check it out, and my muffler came apart in the middle. One wrong bump or high spot in the road would've been a nightmare. I was headed to the Kure Beach 4x4 access. Went down road thinking, "Great... what am I'm gonna do now? Nothing is open, and no one has metal hangers anymore." With my wife, 10-year-old daughter, dog, and puppy in jeep with me, I carried on. Looked to my left, and there it was. "THE MUFFLER PLACE" and the bay doors were open! (God answered my prayers) I pulled up quickly to the bay doors and walked into the office. Ashley (I believe he's the owner) was on the phone informing a customer he was closed. He's just trying to catch up with 5 other jobs that need to be done. His wife wasn't too happy with him. I never imagined that I would have a GREAT experience at a muffler shop. The owner, Corky, was the friendliest and most honest dude. He was able to correctly diagnose my issue before he even wheeled my vehicle into the bay. They fixed it promptly and at a price that was beyond reasonable. I would confidently recommend this place to anyone. If you are thinking about going anywhere else for your exhaust work, don’t. No need to look any further, this is the spot.
