I'm extremely impressed by this car repair shop. Courteous, professional, great communication. Repairs were completed quickly. I really liked the transparency of the inspection and the pictures to accompany the identified problems. Nobody likes car problems, but this is where I'm going to get them fixed from now on.

We took our older vehicle in for a state inspection and an oil change. During the oil change the tech stripped out the drain plug and we were informed that we needed to replace the oil pan. When they discovered they were at fault they found a solution to replace the plug with a larger one at minimum cost to them. No problem there. The problem comes in where we're finding out there is a quote for $750 to replace an oil pan with no mention of there being an issue with the frame rot, just something about steering/suspension noted in the inspection. Had to call in to find out what the problem was. Really disappointed to not have the frame rot be the first thing that was mentioned instead of going directly after the money to replace an oil pan on a vehicle that wouldn't pass inspection. Would have been much happier with being notified about ALL of the items preventing a pass. And yes, we do understand vehicles wear out.

I had a prompt, courteous experience with Ivan who set my appointment and scheduled me for the courtesy shuttle to work. Photos were sent of the findings and an estimate for additional work was explained and recommendations were made. The shuttle driver gave me first class treatment from the drive to work and picking me up after work to return to the Carfix store. The car runs better than before and mileage has increased from before the service was performed. I am delighted to recommend the Garner Carfix to anyone who appreciates a courteous, competitive and competent shop!
