Went to Mr Tire on my lunch break to see if they could plug a tire. Wish I knew the guy’s name who came out to look at it because I’d certainly expose him. Greying hair with glasses. He took one look at the tire and said they couldn’t do anything with it. The hole was almost exactly in the middle of the tread so I knew it could possibly be fixed. Took it to Rockside Tire in Clayton where it’s Mexican owned and operated and guess what Mr Tire in Cary? It was an absolute cotton candy fix for them 5 minutes after the guy looked at it. But thanks to Mr Tire for showing me why the quarry I work for probably doesn’t take their tires there anymore either, but rather takes them to Discount Tire a few miles down the road.
They got me in and out with no problem. Even balanced my tires. Good visit.
I didn't know where to get a tire after we had a blow out on I -40!happened on Mr Tire !borrowed a 4-way wrench...ended up having to b towed to Mr Tire.. they got a new one on before they closed!did a great job!
