Import Car Service

they told me i needed a new head gasket and wanted 2000 dollars for the job. over a year later ive put over 10000 miles on the car, change the oil myself and it has had zero issues. dont know that i can trust them after that Service: Engine repair

My foreign car was having lots of issues, So I took it to another shop for a car diagnostic test. I was told both batteries were fine, but it might possibly need a new alternator or have some wiring issues which could have been in the thousands (the alternator alone was $1200.00 at that shop). Import Car Service did a car diagnostic test and told me ALL it needed was a battery. They replaced the main battery and now the car is running perfectly. Its so nice to have a car I can depend on again. I highly recommend them. Service: Auto maintenance

I had them look over my car that ended up needing engine work but still ran fine. They did the diagnosis and gave me a fair estimate. I told them I would wait and paid the $200 diagnostic fee. I drove home and my radiator reservoir cap blew off spraying coolant everywhere. They didn't screw on the cap...luckily I was near another shop and I limped there. Also noticed they didn't even put my engine cover back on. After going to the shop to pick it up and telling the situation to the owner, he refused to give any type of refund. Only after another customer came in and heard us talking about his issue, did he offer me half of the price I paid. Totally unprofessional and could have easily left me stranded. I will never recommend this shop to anyone. Edit: Just to clarify this was absolutely an interaction with Mike and Import Car Service. I wouldn't forget such terrible service
