Wornall Automotive

I have been using Wornall Automotive over the years. A bit pricey $$$, but they usually do good work and are close to my house.. Recently, I brought my car in to have a couple of sway bar bushings replaced. I dropped off the car in the morning and was called sometime after 12:00 noon. They told me that they broke off 3 of the mounting bolts (Rusted). They then told me they would have to take off the lower control arms to drill the bolts out and that was going to cost $250.00 per arm plus the cost to drill the holes for a total somewhere around $600.00 - $700.00 or replace the control arms and drill the holes out for around $1300.00 or just pick the car up. I asked them if they could just drill out the bolts from the top with a 90 degree drill. I was told easier said than done. I asked a couple of other mechanics and they both told me the same thing. They broke the bolts, they should fix them. Being mechanically inclined, I bought an angle drill and did the job myself. I don't think I w

Mark was very personable over the phone and in person. He explained every step of the process and why I needed the work that he was recommending. He even recommended the *cheaper* brand of tires to me, explaining that it made no difference. When they aligned my tires, they even included a printout of the state of my suspension and explained what the diagram meant. This place gained a new lifelong customer today. Service: Tires

Wornall Automotive is great! Mark is very helpful and explains things so that you understand what's going on with your car. They understood I was on a budget and helped me prioritize what needs to happen now and what can wait for future service. I was told at one place a service needed to be performed on my car and Wornall Automotive let me know that it was definitely not needed. They may cost just a bit more, but it's totally worth it for the service and peace of mind. I would definitely recommend them and I will be bringing my car here for future service.
