1 star for scanning. I came to this shop to have a check engine light scanned. So they ran the code and came up a 8th cylinder misfire. The man helping me gave me an estimate to fix it for $718. People don't get scammed by these mechanics. I went to advanced auto parts and bought a spark plug($4.50) and a new coil($26) and replaced it myself in approximately 4 minutes. My check engine light was gone and my car was back on the road running in great condition. He told me I need 8 plugs and 8 coils that runs about $244 in quality parts from my research. Why 8 plugs and 8 coils? He said you have to buy all 8 of each. He also pointed at the right side of the block and said this is the plug that needs to be replaced this is #8. Turns out he was wrong the #8 is on the left! So that leaves $477 in labor this is crazy and makes no sense. In the end all i needed was a $4.50 spark plug because the coil was fine. I stopped in one day because my tire was low, Joe and one of the boys looked at it and told me that that tire needed replaced ASAP. They put air in it for me to get around and get my day finished. The next week I went back and spoke with Joe, he was so nice! He found the best deal on all new tires for me and ordered them, had them in the next day and put them on for me! He made me a great deal and his service is awesome! My engine light was on and I kept getting different responses as to what was wrong with the vehicle, he ran the diagnostics on me and told me what was wrong with it.
