If you have a foreign car and don’t wanna get robbed by hefty dealership service fees, I would highly recommend South Import. Very competent mechanics and they give you reliable information about your car. I took my car there and had a misunderstanding with them and I wasn’t very nice to them about it yet they still fixed my car when they didn’t have to so that tells you a lot about their character. Ask for Nick, he’ll take care of you and give you honest recommendations.

I have been working with South Import for over 30 years now and they are simply the best. Their prices are fair, service is unbelievable, and they are honest to a fault. I have had multiple vehicles in excess of 200,000 miles and they are to thank for that. Excellent experience! We needed to find a new repair shop after our previous, trusted shop closed during covid. After plenty of research (BBB, Consumer’s Checkbook, various online reviews) we decided to give South Import a try and we are very glad we did. We have a beloved 2009 Subaru Forester that we brought in that needed two minor tweaks (squeaking belt and rattling heat shield) and what we thought was another, more major repair. Upon inspection of the vehicle and discussion, we were assured that the major repair was indeed completely unnecessary at this time and was simply something to keep an eye on. In brief, we now have a non-squeaking, non-rattling Forester and saved a lot of money, time and frustration in the process. We’re really glad we found a shop we can trust and would highly recommend South Import to anyone looking for honest work at very fair prices.
