Tuffy Tire & Auto Service Center - Walled Lake

Unfortunately, after 4 years of taking multiple vehicles to this tuffy, the service recent year has went down terribly. I have spent thousands in repairs and when Art was the owner things we’re guaranteed to be great. Yet now 2023, I have had terrible experience over a simple tire replacement. I was informed of warranty’s on all parts purchased through Tuffy. Even on their invoices it states 12-24 months or 12,000 miles limit. I need f a new tire and yet was given the run around. Promises saying I can get a warranty replace since it was 4k miles only since initial purchase. Yet I was lied to, told multiple things and given time frames that were never met. At the end of the day 5 days go past and I get my replacement elsewhere. Come today, 9/18/23 I am informed the tire arrived and I can come in tomorrow. When Last Wednesday was the day it was ordered and owner Scott said next morning. No outreach was made to me and I’m heavily burdened by trying to keep my service at the same shop and

Battery died while getting oil change at different shop. They recommended Tuffy’s for a difficult battery change due to the type of car I have. Tuffy’s got me in right away near closing, did the job in under an hour, and ended up charging me $100 less than they quoted me. Thank you Becca for your help and professionalism! Top notch service. Friendly phone response. Fast turn around which included Saturday service. They met projected time-line for inspection. Speed of electrical repair was same day turn-around. I asked to have other possible issues checked in which they went above and beyond. Upon pick up, Dennis and Sal discussed my concerns with potential other issues in great detail along with giving me a heads up to other issues I was unaware of. In no way did they suggest to perform and push me for all of these extras on my vehicle type, rather give me all the necessary info I needed in order to proceed with future maintenance. I don't know what others might have charged for the diagnosis and repair I received for what it was brought in for, but found it reasonable for my budget. I have driven my vehicle for 2 days since the repair and so far, the condition I brought it in for has not been repeated. Dennis and Sal are a true asset to this business.
