Kirk's Auto - Livonia

Had 2008 Saturn Aura that would not start and a U0100 code, calling out lost communication with ECM. Had the car towed to Feldman Chevrolet Livonia. They told me $179 to diagnose the car, I said yes. I received a call from them that the ECM needed to be replaced, +$1350 to do the job. Needed to order the part, so would take an extra day or so. I approved it. They called a couple of days later to tell me they replaced the ECM and the car was running, but the check engine light was still on. They wanted another $179 diagnostic fee to check that out. I asked if they had test driven the car and it ran ok and they said yes. Feeling like I was getting screwed with two diagnosis fees, I said I would take the car as is. I brought it home to diagnose myself. Had a P0315 code which is that the crank shaft position needed to be relearned. After researching that, I determined that, I could replace the crank shaft sensor if needed, but I did not have the tool necessary to force a relearn, so I took

Took my Cruz in for repair last week. There was an issue with my stabilizers and parts were ordered. There were several delays in the shipping, but i was kept in contact daily about the status. Once the part was delivered, the repair was done very quickly and i was able to pick my car up right away. Jeff and Paul were very professional and friendly.

Always a great experience! They are pleasant and honest and, as a woman, I feel I can trust what they tell me, which is a big deal. They are also never condescending when speaking to me, which I highly appreciate. I had my oil changed with them recently and when I said I would be waiting they pulled my car right into a bay and got me out of there in about a half an hour. My fiancé has also gotten a loaner car from them before and had a great experience.
