They charged me $2000 for 2 cat converters. I brought it in because idling low. So they charge me $2000 then say you still have your issue, plus your motor is shot. After I already spent couple thousand on motor. Then they really hit me by saying us your gonna be paying a $28 storage fee...this place really kicked me when I was down. I have contacted better business burro. 2 master mechanics said they should have checked motor BEFORE charging me 2 grand and saying my converters were bad... No family values I guess. If so they would have split the labor. Really I shouldn't have paid more than a $100 fee for a compression/leak down test. I will write a review every 2 weeks till they make it right. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Been taking my family cars there for over 20 years. Celica, Bonneville, Transport, CRV, Montana, Altima, Santa Fe, Sienna, CRV#2, Impreza and now Maxima. So they've done a lot for me. We drive a lot for work and all the cars went over 200,000 and 300,000 miles thanks to Ed and Dave's. Chris and Angie have always been professional and honest. I've never had to go back for something that wasnt done right the first time. I've recommended them to friends and family members in the past. I'm confident you'll be happy with their service. Services: Transmission, Electrical repair, Air & cabin filter replacement, Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Brakes, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Battery, Oil change
Long story; Brought my car in for an inspection in hopes to fix my cars issue with the wheel shaking/ car shaking upon hitting bumps. Got a full inspection and was quoted over $6k for multiple things (that seemed more like preventative maintenance), but was told that sway bar links and bushings would be the way to help solve the shaking issue. $370 later and I picked it up after school/ work to find that it still shakes and feels no different. I called and they were very polite and told me to come in for a tech to inspect. The tech finds that I actually need new struts which would be over $2k. I left feeling frustrated that I got quoted for thousands of dollars in work just to have the main issue be missed. I understand that sometimes the first solution doesn’t work, but as a college student I don’t have the money to problem solve and have my car in the shop for weeks at a time. I asked Angie (?) what the best solution would be as my car was not fixed besides a clunking noise going awa
