Muffler Man of Michigan

I was greated upon arrival by the store manager and head mechanic. My vehicle was taken in immediately for diagnostic purposes, and a cracked exhaust manifold was found- which I had suspected. They went out of their way on a Saturday to find the part, and had it installed by noon that day at the best price in town. I highly recommend them to all of you! Service: Exhaust

They checked out a few things on my vehicle, but didn't catch really important things that were broken. Luckily I took it in to another mechanic as well because it could have been a major issue to drive if I only fixed the couple things they said! Also, they didn't check one of the main issues I asked them too. I asked for an estimate and I got a receipt written on with marker and nothing about where it came from so I couldn't use it anyways.

I took my Ford Explorer into Muffler Man for new brake pads and rotors. They gave me a reasonable estimate but later called me stating that I needed all new brake lines too. They said they were rotted and leaking fluid. Without thinking it through I told them to go ahead and replace them if needed. Later when I returned to pay my bill and pick up my vehicle I noticed the bill had an added $650. marked labor? I asked him why and he said that was the break line charge? On my way home, I started to think about how Shady that was. Thinking about it, I hadn't seen any break fluid on my driveway. I decided to go through all of my repair receipts and noticed I had my break lines replaced 3 years prior at Belle tire when my breaks were last done!! Very untrustworthy!!
