Tool In Hand

I actually drive up 40 miles to get major service done with them because they are very honest and reasonably priced. That goes for the owner, Tim, and all of his mechanics. Recently, I had a rebuilt engine installed in my Jeep, and they were on top of the engine delivery and the core pickup from a local autoparts store. Even more so than I was. I can not recommend them enough! Only wish the garage was closer, but worth the drive for peace of mind.

I first went to Tool in Hand when I moved to the area and needed an oil change because of the proximity to my house and good reviews. They've since moved a 20 minute drive away and I'm happy to make the trip because the service has always been impeccable. I have an older, high-mileage car along with a brand new one and I take them both to Tool in Hand. When we had a strange issue with the older one, they tried the easiest fix first and didn't even charge me for their time. Also, once I was in the waiting room and a woman walked in with a random question about her turn signal, and the owner came out and chatted with her about the problem and gave her advice on buying the part herself so she didn't have to pay extra to have a garage order it for her. Very honest and friendly people here, highly recommend.
