I went in for an estimate and told them I wanted to pay out of pocket. The estimator repeatedly told me that I should claim it on insurance and wrote up a $4k estimate. I thought it was outrageous and more than needed to pull a dent out. Took it somewhere else and they confirmed my suspicion by fixing it for $900. The $900 job looks good too. I will never know if they really felt all that work needed to be done or they running up the bill for insurance, but something didn't feel right about it.
