Meineke Car Care Center

The mechanic did a good job replacing my AC condenser. My only issue is the office is kind of confusing as far as what services this location offers. I was under the impression all Meineke's were a chain and none are private shops with their own policies. I don't think this location honors coupons from the main website. Also I was told you can't use contactless payment (this isn't accurate they do allow this payment method). What they really mean is they have a policy at that specific location that they don't accept payment without a card present. Because of this I'm probably going to take a hit to my credit score. The card I had with me has a much lower credit limit than the one on my phone. I prefer the chain stores so you kind of know what you're getting into.

I cannot say enough abou the Techbician that fixed my car . He is smart, knowledgeable and treated me with kindness . I am a Marine Beteran and I received a Veterans discount and a Thank you for my service from him! God Bless him and Meineke Service: Exhaust

They recharged the refrigerant in my car for $293 to look for a leak in the AC system. The employee called me and said the AC was working great then called back 40 minutes later to tell me the AC isn't working anymore and it needs a new compressor for $1000 more. He told me it wasn't leaking out and the compressor was the issue despite the fact that it initially was working. I took my car home and low and behold there is green refrigerant dye all over the inside of the hood of my car indicating a leak. I took my car down the road to another shop where they hooked it up to their monitor and there was no refrigerant in my AC system at all, it had all leaked out. Meineke tried to get me to replace my compressor for $1000 all because they misdiagnosed a leak in my AC. By the way, Sharp Auto down the road will recharge the refrigerant for less than half the price Meineke charged me. Do yourself a favor and take your car to Sharp Auto Center instead.
