PRICE GOUGING AND SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICESS!!!!!! My work truck needed new tires, brought the truck in and had them replace the front tires first, and i would later return for the rear tires. After installing the fronts she told me that they do not accept AM/EX cards. I called my boss because my company card is am/ex, he ended up calling the lady and she put the card info through over the phone no problems at all.( we have receipts proving this transaction). I returned a few weeks later to have the rear tires installed, after sitting in the cigarette smoke filled lobby (owner smokes her cigarettes inside the room next to the front desk) I was told the truck is all set. I said great ill have my boss call with the card info, sha laughed and said I cant do that that's illegal. confused, I said we literally did this a couple weeks ago with the front tires. her response was another laugh and said no we didn't. I have gone to Independent Tire twice now in the last several months and both times I have been so impressed. I walk in and right away, there's a friendly face asking what they can do to help. Even though I don't have an appointment, they are eager to take in my car and solve the problem. Within a half an hour, they had fixed the issue and didn't even charge me anything!
