Reviews for Bob's Auto Repair
We only show the 3 most relevant reviews to save you time.
We moved to the area a few years and started bringing our cars to Bob's Auto Repair. We bring our Subaru and Rav4 for everything. All the routine stuff, Inspections, oil changes, brakes, tire rotations. We also have them find and fix those annoying problems like noises that are hard to figure out and you aren't sure if it is minor or major. They are very professional, friendly, timely, and fairly priced. It's great having a local business that I completely trust. Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Battery, Emissions testing, Oil change
I would advise absolutely NOBODY support this crooked man. I dealt with Bob himself for years, thru 2 cars, confident that he was providing honest and reliable service. I'm sure most of these reviewers are blindly believing the same, thinking he's a good, honest man. WRONG. A year after buying my Nissan Xterra from a dealership, I brought it to Bob to get an inspection sticker (the 3rd car I personally brought to him, and 5th in my immediate family). When I went to pick up my car, I was informed by Bob that it had failed inspection and was needing $1164 in front end work (something to do with my front axle, wheel, etc... things I was quite unfamiliar with). He then, very fluidly offered to get started on the repairs, expecting me to agree as I had trusted and dealt with him for years. I had taken very good care of my car since bought, and had a hard time understanding how it could need something so costly only a year after buying it in mint condition. So I told him I wanted to hold off
Is it right when an automotive shop will accept a job knowing what it may be and then decline to do work and threats of court if they share their expierence with others? Oh not to mention threats of charging for storage? This place is old and past its prime if it had one. UPDATE TO THIS REVIEW!!! The owner has called me a 12 year old. Is that professional at all?
