This is the first review I have ever felt valid in writing.The owner of the shop took time to explain to me, an older woman with no car sense, exactly what he was doing, and why. I have paid hundreds of dollars in unnecessary repairs many times in the past. I took my car to Tarik and expected one problem. Because my car is 20 years old it became 3 problems. He was patient, kind and very helpful. I would suggest to single women, young or old, who would like to have trust in a mechanic, use the services of SBC Auto Care, you will not be sorry. they were able to order my part and fix the issue within 24 hours, price was reasonable and im very happy

After 2 misdiagnoses and $321, the problem still isn't fixed. A first they said it was the wheel bearing and hub assembly. Then they said it was the CV Axle. Tried to charge double both times for parts and labor. Backed off when we found the parts at O'Reilly almost 100 cheaper and still tried to charge double for the work against what was initially quoted. We will never go there again.
