2014 VW Touareg TDI. Driving through MS in my way to TX my air conditioning went out late Friday evening, 100 - 108 F temps, day and night. Rick fit my car into his shop first thing Monday morning. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad blower motor. A replacement motor was not available locally (including the VW dealership). Rick set me up with a parts store in Houston that had the motor in stock and at a very reasonable price. I was able to pick up the motor Monday afternoon and through Rick's direction I installed it that evening. Cold air again!!! Rick also discovered a couple of important issues that I was not aware of. One in particular. Over a year ago I replaced the battery but I did not know it needed to be registered to the car. When a new battery is installed, battery registration essentially resets the charging parameters to account for a perfectly functional battery once again.
