Music Express Car Audio & Skate Shop

BJ and Staff are amazing. This is a specialized store. They sell all kind of cool stuff. Skateboards, stickers, vinyl and Audio for any application. I am an uneducated audiophile, so I depend on professionals to educate me and get my sound where I want it. These guys do impeccable work, and the cleanest install I have ever had. BJ is really great and ensures you are happy. BJ re-did the system in my Jeep and it sounds amazing. BJ will not set you up for failure. He will make sure that you get what is the best option for your vehicle. I will not go anywhere else.

Our experience with these folks was horrible. We drove 45 miles to their shop, left our vehicle there and were told later that they had decided they did not want to do the work. They said they did not know how to do the basic installation of a stereo on a van conversion. What is odd is that the stereo in the front of the van is the same as any other van, but they claimed to not work on vans. They had promised to help out with a ride that would have only been two miles from the shop, then reneged later - lying and claiming they had not made the offer - out of pure spite. Happily, all ended well because we took our vehicle to another, much more experienced shop and had adults work on it instead. The work the new shop did was phenomenal - they are highly skilled and experienced (almost 30 years of experience) and it shows. Music Express Car Audio and Skate Shop are the most immature, unprofessional group of people we have ever encountered in a business setting. Not recommended.

So I've never once been compelled to leave a review but this place was so fantastic that I just had to breakdown and do it!! Music Express is by far one of the BEST shopping experiences I've ever had. They were extremely friendly, very helpful and actually listened to what I wanted/needed without trying to oversell me on something else. Which honestly, it could have been easy to do since I didn't know much about car audio! BJ was very knowledgeable, professional and did my install in only 20 minutes! Other stores told me it would have to be scheduled and would take anywhere from 2 days to a week! I've done my research and I know for a fact they have the best install prices in the Hammond and BR area! (BR & Big Box stores were 2x's higher) Not to mention the best quality products with the BEST SERVICE you'll ever find! I picked out my stereo and walked out of the door with it installed in less than an hour! (I think it was actually closer to 45 mins!) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE support
