Fry's Car Care 95th In Leawood

I've been taking my car here for years and they always do a great job. The prices are fair and the staff know what they're doing. Whenever my friends are having automotive issues, I always recommend Fry's.

Brought my car in due to the air conditioner not working. Was quoted $2,000 for the repair, saying my compressor was bad, and it had contaminated all of the other parts in the system, so they would all have to be replaced. I was skeptical about this, so decided to take it to the dealership. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the compressor. All my car needed was a simple valve replaced that cost $110. Air conditioner is now running better than ever. I would not take my car to Fry's again. They charged me $80 just to assess the problem, then quoted me for work that didn't need to be done.

Zero stars. Just a waste of time and money. They “fixed my tire” with a patch and then (same day) I had to go back because my tire had 4 extra holes that they didn’t notice the first time. They did not put the tire back on after the initial patch work, saying no one was there who could do it (they had 4 workers when I arrived) so I put it on myself. They said they couldn’t do anymore patches (after the tire went flat again) and offered to sell me an over priced tire without offering a refund or discount for the initial patch work (which didn’t solve the problem). Overall disappointment with their efforts and customer service. I ended up going to walmart and got a new tire from there.
