We've used Garber Automotive two dozen vehicles (three kids and lots of new cars too) over the past 20 years with never any problems. Service was always top tier and fairly priced. I pretty much took any non-warranty work for the newer vehicles as well as all the older out of warranty vehicles to Garber Automotive except for any specialized work that they wanted me to take to a different shop, like front end alignment before they had their own setup. I'm not an automotive guy. I could build you a computer, fix your Wifi router, etc, but change your oil? Helpless. Like a lot of us, I'm completely at the mercy of my mechanic to give me sound advice, be honest, and not overcharge or do unnecessary repairs to my vehicle. When you find a place like Garber, who gives you an estimate for service and repair, and then informs you that "Hey, we thought we would need to replace both widgets, but only one was broken... you owe us $600 less that we estimated"... when that happens, you know you are now their customer for life. Just be prepared for a wait to get their services, because lots of people in Lawrence already know what I found out - that Garber is simply the best.
