They came highly recommended by a friend of their family. I have no idea if they can fix a car or not, they very possibly are great mechanics but I will not be taking my car back there to find out after the way that I was treated by one of the mechanics on the phone. I took my car in to be worked on and the guy at the front desk was a very elderly gentleman, very sweet but didn't seem really in tune. He seemed more like someone's Dad who just putters around the shop. I tried to talk to him about my warranty information but I could tell he wasn't really taking it in. So, I called them after I got home, trying to ensure that they had the info they needed, the guy that I talked to was so rude, sarcastic and condescending that I was spitting fire by the time I got off the phone. I went in and picked my car up and will not be back. They obviously have all of the business they can handle if they can afford to treat customers like that.

I was recommended George's by a dear friend. After living in Fort Wayne for 12+ years, always having older cars, and visiting over a dozen of the local garages, I think I have finally found my go-to spot. I brought in an older vehicle throwing codes and asked them to take a look, not expecting much. They were very diligent in their review and kept me updated throughout the day. Ultimately, they suggested me to a specialized shop up the road. They also pointed out some things that I was entirely unaware of. At no point did I feel pressured or that they were trying to take advantage. Truly an honest shop full of good people.
