TODAY 7/7/21: Again Jose always takes care of the issue quickly, efficiently, and takes the time to explain. Prices are also economical and you definitely get your money’s worth. My only concern is beware of the time you go as they are understaffed. I learned that the hard way but the service will always keep me coming back. 3 months ago - I highly recommend this shop! I was in a bind as my mechanic canceled on me and I knew no one in the area. I found this place on Google and the reviews do no justice! Jose was super friendly, honest, fair, and understanding. He was booked today and still squeezed me in, and took care of my brakes in great timing. Not only did he do the work, he also explained everything to me so I knew exactly what was causing the issue, what i needed to fix it, and what he would do to fix it. Very hospitable. Awesome work! 10 stars.

Cannot recommend Zacatecas Auto in East Chicago enough! On our way to Chicago for a weekend trip we had an alternator problem and they were able to fit us in so we’d have a road ready vehicle for our ride home. Auto problems on a roadtrip are never fun, so it’s good to know there’s a reliable shop like Zacatecas Auto to help! Jose at Zacatecas is a great guy! He’s knowledgeable, polite, will keep you informed of what he’s doing and give you just the facts of what’s going on with your car. Don’t see myself going anywhere else if I have car trouble.
