They certainly pad the price of their brake parts. After I got the bill, I price checked the parts, and they marked the rotors and pads up over 50% of retail. Also, they didn't "prioritize" my repair even though I dropped off the car the previous day and was told something would probably be done that first day. I also told them that I was traveling over 1k miles from home, but they took their sweet old time. No consideration for the extra costs to me. This is very different from past experiences I've had at other shops repair shops. What in the world is going on with people caring about other people? This area seems to be a place where the businesses don't seem to have a sense of urgency to get things done quickly of efficiently, and it seems like it's because they're one of the few places in town. I'm trying to be fair, but I'm not sure how trust worthy this place is. The staff was friendly, but I think they were "managing me" or placating me. Service: Brake service & repair

I have been a Firestone customer for 5+ years at the College Mall location. My husband and I have taken both of our vehicles there for all of our regular maintenance — and while their pricing has historically been a little high, the work has been satisfactory. Today, however, I took my vehicle in for a routine oil change only to find I was charged $94.23. For an OIL CHANGE. When I asked the cashier why the bill was so much, he replied with ‘that’s just how much it is’ and didn’t explain any further. After getting home and looking over the itemized bill, I realize I was charged not only the $58.99 for 5 quarts of the high mileage synthetic oil (which I did not ask for) but an additional 10 quarts of oil??? My vehicle holds no more than 6 quarts. Ridiculous. Needless to say, I won’t be returning. It’s such a shame - such an ideal location but the poor customer service and blatant price gouging is unacceptable. Service: Oil change
