Doug's Auto Repair

Dealing with car repairs is always frustrating and I'm always hesitate about shops, but not this one. Everyone I worked with here was always direct, honest, and clear about the work that needed to be done v. the work that could wait a bit if needed. When I was car-less these guys would pick me or drop me from the shop. If I was unclear about the work and why it was rec. Doug would explain everything and make it clear that he would complete only the work I requested. The work was good and the price was better.

I've never had any issues with Doug's auto repair. They were the only shop in town to diagnose my issue without guessing, which was a broken piece off the harmonic balancer clanking around. Doug showed me the old part and recreated the noise perfectly by hand. The price was fair. Edit: I sold that car to a friend and he damaged the balancer again (it was my friends fault). This time I repaired the crank shaft sensor and balancer and I can confirm Doug charged a fair price for the parts, knowledge, and effort involved.

I have done most of my repairs with Doug. I had complete confidence in him until today. I had an appt confirmed for 10 am. We arrived and no one was there. This isn't very professional. Someone else just gained our business because of your error! Meanwhile there were 2 other people who pulled up and said some not so pleasant words about your business as we were waiting...Your business says you open at 9 am and we had an appt at 10 am you should adhere to what you schedule!
