Jim's Reliable Auto Repair

Jim's is seriously the best shop in the area. After having multiple vehicles at multiple shops over the years, I really rather not go anywhere other than Jim's. He is exceptionally honest and fair in prices for parts and service. He charged less than half on repairs to my son's car of what Roselle Service Center charged me for the exact same thing. One drawback might be that, because he does good work for relatively low costs, he is always busy and it may be difficult to get something done right away. It's taken several days in the past to get work done but honestly it was worth waiting. It's refreshing to take your vehicle somewhere and someone tell you the truth as opposed to looking for endless ways to gouge you for money.

My husband had his brakes repaired here recently. When he came home that day there was a new loud humming noise coming from the car. Took it to another shop and wheel bearings on both sides need to be replaced likely damaged in the process of repairing the breaks. Would not recommend Jim’s. Update it cost $600 to repair the wheel bearings on both sides. Would avoid this place unless you want to spend extra fixing their mistakes

I would not recommend bringing any german cars here. I personally was sent home with my BMW repeatedly when my engine kept overheating... They would put more coolant in my reservoir and say everything checks out. Another shop was able to identify all the problems with one diagnosis whereas I kept coming to this shop with the same problem for over a year! This is a shop for american made or japanese made cars. Prices are decent and the people are nice. Service is ok.
