Great place for your basic repairs! Very reasonable people at work. They go out of their way to explain what's wrong with your vehicle and charge you only if they feel they have offered a service. I once got my car checked for engine light and they tracked the code and issues in detail. Once they got to know they couldn't work on it, they never charged a cent for the checks they performed. Recently took my car here because my car was making a noise. They inspect it and tell me it’s because I need new brake shoes with drums and give me a quote of over $625. I agree and let them go ahead with the work. I get my car back, and the car is still making the noise. I call them to tell them about it, and they make an appointment for me to bring it back in three days later. I bring it back, wait for about an hour, and before they give me my car back, they tell me they’ve “cleaned and lubricated” it and that the noise is supposedly gone again. They also say that if it were to make the noise again that there are “no safety issues.” As I get onto the interstate to head back home (a 45 minute drive), it seems like my car is driving funny but I thought maybe I was imagining things. Then, as I attempt to slow down to get on the exit ramp and apply the brake pedal, I suddenly had practically no braking capability and the pedal was practically going to the floor! It was incredibly scary

Been coming here once or twice a year for about 5 years, Dennis is always great to work with and has taken good care of me and my Chevy Cavalier! I was met with a new face, Abigail and she was very friendly and great to work with too! My car is always done within the estimated time frame! Hopefully I won't need any more repairs in the near future but if I do I'll always come back to Midas on Glen!! Service: Brakes
