Stay away from this shop! On June 29th 2021 I brought my 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 to David's auto located at 2924 W. Van Buren St. Chicago Il 60612. I explained my vehicle does not run do to electrical issues caused by water damage. Daniel stated he has a excellent tech that specializes in electrical problems and they can definitely do the repair. He then said the labor would be $2000.00 and asked for a $1000.00 deposit to start the job and the balance when the repair was completed. After four months of excuses Daniel stated he they were unable to repair the vehicle. I called multiple times, they never answer my calls I believe they blocked my phone number. Quick repairs, but not high quality. Rushed to glue my oil pan, did a poor job sealing it. $1400 repair and I still have an oil leak that I have to add oil to. Almost cost me the whole engine on a trip across country, even though my school has given crazy amounts of business over the years. I recommend elsewhere.

The staff at David's Auto are always so helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. Will definitely recommend everyone I know to go there if they need a good honest mechanic.
