Stay away from this shop! On June 29th 2021 I brought my 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 to David's auto located at 2924 W. Van Buren St. Chicago Il 60612. I explained my vehicle does not run do to electrical issues caused by water damage. Daniel stated he has a excellent tech that specializes in electrical problems and they can definitely do the repair. He then said the labor would be $2000.00 and asked for a $1000.00 deposit to start the job and the balance when the repair was completed. After four months of excuses Daniel stated he they were unable to repair the vehicle. I called multiple times, they never answer my calls I believe they blocked my phone number. I was referred to come here from Jiffy Lube because "my car was leaking oil." I went to David's Auto to see what was going on. They gave me an estimate telling me that my car would catch on fire. I didn't drive my car for a month and had to get a rental. This place scams people and unfortunately especially women. I looked it up and asked a friend who is a mechanic to give me his input as well. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
