Joe's Automotive Repair

I would not even give this place one star to be honest, but in order to write this review I have to. I called them and asked for an Estimate on replacing all my brakes. They said to bring the car in. I ended up not getting them done today because I can't afford it right away and he charged me $40.00 just for an estimate. I informed him that I called him and asked before I came in for an estimate and he didnt tell me it was going to cost. He said that it didn't matter. I still owed him money. I paid my bill no problem, and then I advised him that he should give costumers a rough "estimate" when they call and ask. The owners response was "this is a business sweety, I don't work for free. I have to make my money." he then tried to take my signed receipt out of my hands and send me on my way. He was very arrogant and rude. He acted as if his time was the only thing in important thing in this world. I'm just sad to admit that he took advantage of a young college student.

Called to offer several options to fix my car issue. Explained the advantages of each, and the price differences. Once we made a choice, he started work, then discovered a cheaper, faster, better solution and offered it. Most repair shops would have done the quicker way and kept the higher price

I had a great experience at Joe's today, my windshield wipers were out of sync. This happens often and has cost me a pretty penny the past. However it turns out it was a quick easy fix that I can do myself, and they showed me how. I could not be more grateful that Joe's mechanics were honest with me. I will not hesitate to take my car back there in the future!!
