I very much appreciate the care Clay Dooley has been giving to my old 2007 Mazda since I moved to a Champaign two years ago! Although I have to laugh; when I just took it in for an oil change now, I asked them to check the slow leak in one of my tires. They couldn’t find the tire iron with the locking lug nut in the back of my car. It wasn’t exactly hidden… Service: Oil change

I would not recommend Clay Dooley Tire & Auto at all. I brought my car in to fix my charging system and have them do a full inspection of the vehicle because I had some misfires, and I recommended that they replace the alternator. They said that they wouldn’t need to, but then proceeded to call me back saying that I would need a new alternator. For the inspection, it was clear that they were lazy and only did a visual inspection because my car came back with the misfires still so I had to replace the spark plugs and spark plug wires myself. The worst part about it all was that they left my battery completely dead, 5 volts. Overall it was a waste of time and I would’ve much rather given my money to an actually competent shop.
