I found this shop through google. The reviews seemed good enough and they always have a lot of cars in the lot so I figured it was a good place to take my Cherokee XJ that was experiencing a misfire and a transfer case issue. I called ahead and I was told there are no appointments and it takes 3-4 days for diagnostics. No problem. I drop it off 11/6 and received a call 11/13. The call was pretty short, basically telling me I need a brand new engine and a new transfer case because they had “internal damage”. I wasn’t told what internal damage (pistons, valves, springs). He immediately came in with pricing without explaining anything other than it had low compression. I wasn’t given the leak down test results or the compression numbers. I knew this was not true. The jeep ran fine with a slight misfire. An entire new engine was not warranted. A cylinder head I could maybe believe, but not an entire long block. Ever since I have come upon Nick’s Precision.. I pretty much only take my vehicle to them. I love the customer service and love that Nick takes the time to remember his customers. They do a pretty darn good job from customer service to job performance all the around. They work to get the job done right but as quickly as they can. I’ve had them repair on my 2015 Equinox my wiper blades, wheel alignment. Water pump etc… Thanks Nick for being a business people can count on.
