Nice shop but too expensive. See my costs below and make up your own mind. It is $103 to have them look at your car (waived if you have them do the work). Just know that going in. For my car he said I needed an O2 sensor, battery terminals needed to be cleaned, and an air filter. It’s about $70 in parts and should take less than an hour for me (a total novice) to do myself. He quoted me $420 to do it. Nice guy but because of the prices I wouldn’t go back. **edited to respond to owner** I was able to repair my car successfully for the time and price listed above, no issues a year later. I bought the part new so not sure why the part was so expensive for you. I screen my calls to avoid spammers but have no voicemails from you.

I highly recommend the team at Automotive Repair Specialist. The owner, Brent, is highly ethical, has years of experience and knowledge and always does a superb job at a competitive rate. His mechanic, Jarimie, is also very knowledgeable, hard working and takes great care of us.

Took our truck in, told them what was going on with it. Left it there for them to check it out, it was put inside the pen and then never moved until we had it picked up. Was charged $377. Looked at the receipt...there was a hazardous material charge and some other BS on there and then it very clearly stated a VISUAL inspection was done. Over $300 for a VISUAL inspection. One of the workers confirmed prior to picking it up that they hadn't even touched the truck. Was told the repairs would be over $12k. Spoke to the dealership and amazingly enough they quoted more like $5k, and what we were told was the issue after a VISUAL inspection wasn't even the problem. Dealerships and most other mechanics charge for a flat hour of $75 to $100 to diagnose, which typically includes hooking up to a device to see what's going on...but $377 for a VISUAL inspection. Would not recommend this shop!
