Hoffman Auto Body

Disclaimer: I did not receive any service or work from Hoffman Auto Body, only an estimate. However, that was enough... They do not seem professional or entirely honest and may be willing to take advantage of customers who may not know better. Right off the bat, the gentleman completing my estimated (a Guy W.) seemed amused that I was not going through insurance, and the estimate he wrote seems to reflect an amusement and expectation that I would just accept and pay what he wrote down. My front bumper, passenger headlight, and passenger front fender were damaged. Guy wrote an estimate that included removing the front door - which is undamaged and functions perfectly - and all the associated trim, for about 2.5 labor hours. This is entirely unnecessary as the fender can be removed and replaced with the door still on the vehicle(2005 Honda Accord). He also included a new wheel in the estimate, which was hilarious as I had just had it balanced at a tire shop and found it to be 100% fine.

Hoffman Auto Body did an amazing job in repairing our 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. I wanted to find a locally owned auto body shop in Boise and Hoffman Auto Body was highly recommended. Chad kept us updated with repairs and used original Subaru replacement parts. Very friendly staff and family owned since 1958. If you are in need of some auto body work, give them a call. A kitten was hit and killed in front of their business and after helping the poor soul I went back to ask if they have seen other kittens on their property (they hadn't). They were so kind and compassionate to me and let me walk their property to see if there were more kittens that might need to be rescued. Thank you!
