5 Stars in my book! I was in from out of town to help my son and noticed his AC was not blowing cold air. They charged it up in no time and were super nice. If we have car issues in the future we will definitely be back. Highly recommend! Service: Air conditioning

They won’t give a quote over the phone. Perhaps this will get their attention. They want you to come in to “get all the details” (the most you need in a VIN, easily done over the phone. They want to try and pitch a sale at you in person. Edit: I gave Dowdy’s another location a call. They gave me a quote over the phone for my timing belt. It is more than the Toyota dealership. Additionally, the owner of this shop responded to this review with speech that borderline discredited my review entirely. It seems they want to choose to get blasted on reviews rather than admit there’s a problem.

This service started off well. Timely, responsive and friendly. After service was done, warning light of "oil overfill" popped on. I called them and they said to bring back. I also pulled over to check and not only was it markedly overfilled, they had also left a rag on top of the engine. I told staff I had concerns and Manager came out and was very dismissive and gave excuse that it took 13.2 quarts so was hard to measure. Dismissed the rag being left. My concern: if you are sloppy enough not to add oil in increments to ensure accuracy and forget a rag - how does that equate to competent service. This was an oil change - what would happen if this was a complicated job? Shortcuts? Excuses? Finally, the time it takes to bring it back, cancel meeting that was scheduled etc. Not a good experience to say the least.
