Beware of any mechanic making their clients pay a deposit before the work begins. They will also charge you 3.5% to use their credit card machine. They don't take checks so the only way you can pay for the actual work they do, is by bringing cash (which is inconvenient). They also charge you an inspection fee ($35-$95) to just diagnose your car. This would be tolerable, if they were talented enough to actually fix the car. They were not. I really am surprised they are getting away with this. There are plenty of good mechanics in the Clayton County/Fayette areas that inspect a car for free and don't make their clients pay for the use of using their own credit cards. Be vigilante.

I've been going to Rodriguez Auto Repair ever since 2010 and they've been nothing but great to me. Mr. Rodriguez and his mechanics are extremely helpful, friendly, and honest. They discuss the issues with me about my car before doing any services unlike MANY other mechanic shops. I've also seen many dishonest people/customers that try to swindle Mr. Rodriguez while I'm waiting in the wait room for my car service to get finished and I tell you, people are unbelievable because they're absolutely great. They know their stuff inside and out. I definitely recommend!

My 2007 Chevy Tahoe was not allowing me to put gas in the tank, I took it to Rodriguez and he new exactly what was wrong however, when I asked him how much it would cost he said he wouldn’t be able to tell me until he saw what was needed. I should of been suspicious then since he knew exactly what was wrong but couldn’t tell me what it would cost. When went to pick up the truck he hit with a $845 bill with the part costing $120. He knew he was over charging me and wanted to discuss about all he had to do, I spoke with two Chevy mechanics that said the job should have been approximately $350. Rodriguez is not honest and you should be aware if you take your vehicle to him. I’m a retired disabled veteran and I’m ????
