Got told by autozone that I need my cylinder head assembly replaced so I started calling around town to get a quote for the repair I supposedly needed and was either quoted an insane amount or they couldn’t help at all. Then I found Sherman Automotive and right from the beginning they where asking questions that other mechanics didn’t. They said that if that’s truly what I need then it would be in the $2500 range but he insisted on looking at it first. It took two days to figure out what the problem was but everyone at this shop was being very nice and they where constantly telling me what they where doing and what’s going on while they where working on my car. I ended up paying a little over $350 and they took care of my problem. They could just have said yeah that’s $2500 to fix like every other mechanic I called but they are honest people and truly want to help fix your car for as cheap as they can. Mr. Sherman and his sister Ms. Melanie are honest top notch people. Very knowledgeable and actually bring the customer into the back office and shop to discuss and show the customer the problem. I look forward to doing business with them in the future.
