Jake's Brakes

I was sent to Jake’s Brakes by Discount Tire after a wheel stud was broken at Discount. The people at Jake’s were very nice and I don’t know what they did to my wheel before they told me they couldn’t fix it. Said they didn’t have the equipment. After leaving, my wheel had a roar, brake squealing and scrubbing. Now a good rotor has to be replaced as well as other items. Total repair cost is $460.00. Jake’s Brakes takes no responsibility! My vehicle will never go to that place again and I will discourage ANYONE from taking their car there.

Such a great experience! Everyone is not only super nice and helpful, but also super knowledgeable, professional, and honest. Took my car there after the dealer was not able to fix my brakes properly and wow, I wish I knew about this place before! My car drives like brand new, brakes function better than ever, and they got it all done in a few hours. Plus, I paid less than $100! The best mechanic experience I ever had. They are now my brake shop forever.

I strongly recommend Jake's Brakes to everyone in need of brakes for their vehicle. Not only do they do a great job when replacing brakes, but they will be honest with you on whether you do or do not need brakes replaced. Tallahassee Ford told me I desperately needed new front and rear brakes on my F-250 in June of 2020, I took my truck to Jake's Brakes, they told me the back brakes were perfectly fine and to replace the front only saving me $$$, still, a year and a half later, back brakes are fine.
