The transmission I purchased did not work properly from the start, $740 at a local shop, Circle D Transmission in Houston, to make it work by going in the valve body. Now after sending it back to lizard transmissions, they claimed to take it apart and it was fine. I got it back shifting worse. Took it to another local shop who has taken it apart to find out it is not what I bought at all, buyers beware. Stock rotor not billet, no zpack clutches, assembled all wrong, pump wore out from the rotor not even fitting . This guy is a crook
Thanks to Joe, my 1970 Chevelle has a great quality 700 R4 Transmission. With Joe's help and knowledge, I had a pretty simple conversion from a Turbo 350 Transmission. Joe took the time to explain all of my questions I had for him about the Transmissions. Very wonderful person to do business with. The transmission came with the dip stick, TV cable and switch for overdrive lockup. I'm all set! Thanks again Joe, I will recommend you to others! Very happy customer! Jim H.
