The service department talks the talk but just can’t seem to walk the walk for whatever reason…the excuse du jour being a shortage of people in the labor force. We love the sales and finance team - prompt prompt prompt when you’re buying, but on the service side it’s more like wait wait wait. To schedule an appointment to have your car looked at is booking at least a week out. After they “diagnose” the problem which takes anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours you will likely be told you’ll have to leave the vehicle for hours to days. If you need a loaner you’re looking at 3-4 weeks before you can leave your car. I’m beginning to think they must not really want to resell service agreements to return customers (which we are because Ford has seriously upped its game with what their vehicles offer) or that I m a fool for buying it twice.

Thanks Herbert in service for answering my call and giving me advice. I know this place is extremely busy and short on help. I am happy with your suggestion. Sarasota Ford a very busy dealer and the busiest but for a reason. Lorraine. But they don’t standby the vehicles they sell as is. you are on your own. they do not inspect their used vehicles. so their service sub par and they experience a-lot of attrition with employees.
