AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

Beware! I took my car to my regular mechanic because my car was making a noise around 40 mph. After my mechanic checked the car thoroughly he said that there were a lot of transmission codes. I took my car to Aamco, and was told I need the advanced diagnostic which costs nearly $500. After, the Advanced Diagnostic, Ian told me there were many codes and the transmission needed to be rebuilt. I agreed. The first estimate given was not the total that was given at time of pick up. As soon as I got the car and they brought it out, as it was running it was shaking (while in Aamco parking lot) I was told to drive the car for a week so everything will work itself out. I couldn’t believe he felt comfortable a car in that condition. The same day of pick up, I called and spoke with Ian. I explained to him all the different changes that the car now have.
