The V Shop

My 1987 Volvo 740 was in mint condition. I'd been to this shop years ago, my mistake going back. I took my car for a simple leak, which they did not fix, back in November 2021, I am just now writing about it because I have been furious since. I still have the receipts and the memories. Worst thing, they washed the car and burnt my pristine rims with some type of cleaner. That's why it is no longer mint but they said they gave me an $80 water bottle for free. I wish I could write the whole story.

Replaced ignition coil. So far, so good. As far as the repairs of June, too early to tell. There were a couple of curious finds by Roger (whom I like). One was a strange noise that I never heard, which he identified as a wheel bearing in need of replacement. The other being the air conditioning, which was blowing ice cold the week before. Other than that, it's too soon to tell. One last thing, the brakes feel no different than when I took it in for pads and rotors.. I've notified Roger of this fact. His response was that they did the work. I brought my car in for a clutch replacement. They only had my car for 2 days, they did a great job and they charged me less than 1/3 of what the dealership would have charged me (no exaggeration)! They even showed me the condition of the old clutch and flywheel when I came to pick up my car so I knew this was a needed repair (I knew it anyway, but it was still comforting). I would definitely recommend The V Shop and should I need a mechanic again, I will be coming back to them. Service: Transmission
