This was honestly one of the worst Midas/mechanics I’ve been to and I’ve been all across this country and know a little bit about cars. I will be sticking with my original mechanic from now on. My breaks started making noise a week ago. I don’t drive a whole lot so I saved my money, (I’m just a waitress so I have to work a lot of OT and doubles just to come up with extra cash for repairs) so I could get my breaks fixed the correct way. I saw a promo for $50 off at Midas and thought since they were closer I would check them out. I told them I just wanted my breaks done, 2 hours later I’m being quoted $1050 for battery, wipers, filters and somehow over $800 for new breaks pads and rotors. I did do my research and for my make model and year it shouldn’t have been much over $500. I’ve already spent well over $1500 in repairs the past 3 weeks and spent way less on way more expensive parts so how on earth breaks and rotors cost that much is beyond me. New Ownerships New management! I spent $1000 here on brakes! I wasn't stopping properly and took it to Tire Choice and Midas failed to put a bolt attaching my rotor to my calipers! The mechanic said I was very lucky! Service: Brakes
