After researching countless articles in order to solve my 2008 Tacoma's shudder when shifting in its automatic transmission, I found Frank. Frank runs Richmond Transmissions and is on the web. Call him now. I had gotten to the point of being told all Tacoma transmissions shudder and just live with it to yea, I heard the shudder. It will be 3500 to 6000 to replace the transmission. Long story short I talked to Frank 5 minutes on the phone and he literally told me it wasn't the transmission. Funny part I argued with him a little but he's real knowledgeable.
