Great place. They are a little old school. If you are looking for a fancy showroom and a free coke, this is not it. If you are looking for an honest repair shop where they know what they are doing, and not guessing or just trying to milk you, you found the right place. Its nice to know reputable service centers still exist.

My husband and I have used Holton Automotive for many years, and they are the best in Gainesville for car upkeep and repairs. Over the last decade or so, they have worked on our cars, the oldest being my 2007 Mustang, and the most recent being my 2019 Lexus. They are fast, thorough, dependable, very nice, helpful, likable and their prices are reasonable. I highly recommend them. I assure you that you won’t be disappointed.

Dropped my truck off on 10/11 for what I thought was a fuel pump going out.. 10/25 I called to see if my truck was repaired and ready. They told me that they wanted to road test it one more time and if that road test went well, my truck would be ready for pick up. I picked my truck up later that day and was told that they replaced the distributor, spark plugs, an O2 sensor, and an ignition module. $916.61 later my truck was was reported to have more power and ready to go. The reality was when I cranked my truck up it wasn’t idling well, broke down on me twice on my way home. It barely made it back to my house. I called Holton’s as soon as I got home to make them aware of the condition of my truck. They had it towed back to the shop and I’m now waiting for updates…now 16 days in. This is my primary vehicle… Update: 21 days now with no truck! I’ve called for update, only to be told they would call back. They’ve never returned a call. I dropped my truck off with just under a hal
