Begley Auto Repair (Westway Shell Services)

I had a friend reach out to me because their vehicle randomly died on the freeway. They called their family's mechanic and had their Ford Escape towed to his shop. Corey (Not sure how his name is actually spelled) took it in and said he would do a diagnostic to figure out what's happened. Unfortunately my friend wasn't there to sign anything, and Corey having worked with my friend's family in the past, went ahead and spent 4 hours trying to figure out what the problem was. The issue was intermittent and it all boiled down to a crack in the fuse, where once it was hot, it would expand, no longer make contact, and would kill the car. Once it cooled down, it was fine again. He replaced the bad fuse and it was flawless again. My friend however was in a *very* bad position financially, and couldn't afford the 4 hours of labor. Corey was able to drop that price down to something that we could help my friend out with, and even patched a hole in her tire. I appreciate the honesty and integrity

Had my car 2 days there. Motor check was alarmed. First day they drove 1/4 of my gas tank empty and told me after hours, that they have to order a part. On the second day they were gone with the car for about an hour and told me, that they can not do it as they came back. It would be a repair for several thousands. Probably it is a repair of several thousands. But they did it with driving my car…. I am thinking to involve a lawyer. Now it is not just the lamp for engine. It is the lamp for oil as well. Worst I ever have seen.

Six years service for my car at this location. Made an appointment last week for an oil change at 2PM today, Reported for my appt. at exactly 2 PM today and was asked to try again an hour later. What's up? The new supervisor at this location is not getting the job done. Won't be back, Doug Seeley
