I have to admit I was skeptical at first of a shop that is so convenient to downtown, they could totally take advantage of so many city folk with no auto knowledge. I'm pretty picky cause I prefer to work on cars myself, so I really need to trust the mechanic. After chatting with the owner and his wife about classic cars and foreign cars I could tell this guy knew what he was talking about, so now I trust him with everything. He's super honest, and I've been in there when a random woman comes in stranded with a broken down car, and if it's a 5 second fix I've seen him just send them on their way at no charge, when he probably could have charged them any amount and they would have been happy to be on the road. He knows American V8s in and out, but also knows foreign luxury and hybrid. He's a unicorn of a mechanic. Granted they are a little bit more expensive than going to MD or VA, but so is the real estate. And the premium is totally worth the convenience.
