Originally I was going buy a battery outright and install it myself, but the installation fee was very reasonable and went that route. The whole process for a hybrid battery install took under 45 minutes. Technician was incredibly professional, called and gave updates on on time of arrival. Prius Kings rocks! I would guess every Prius dreads one thing in common...learning that the hybrid battery needs to be replaced. When I got that call last Friday, and the price tag of $4000+ to put in a new hybrid battery into my '07 with 183,000 miles at the dealer, I immediately began searching for a new Prius.
