This is a one star review because I can't post a review with zero stars. I was in an accident and the Connecticut State Police called Preece's to tow my car. I had never been in an accident before, and it was a traumatizing experience. Once they got my car to their lot, they instructed me to leave my car unlocked with the key inside. While there is a gate, their lot is not fenced in and anyone could have come into my car at any time. They held my car for over a week, providing incomplete and misleading information to my insurance company in order to amass greater tow charges. First, a tow company was dispatched to remove my car, and they refused to release the car because the charges were incorrect. When the body shop that was going to repair my car contacted them to get my car off the lot themselves with the correct charges, they then claimed to only accept cash payment and would not release my car until someone paid in cash. This resulted in my claim being reassigned to a field agent
Very low efficient and over priced. It took a whole month for them to order headlight bulbs. Eventually they ordered defect bulb and I had to buy a new one.
Steve Jr has been taking care of all my mechanical needs. always addresses the problem. very trustworthy mechanic, cant be more pleased with a place to bring my truck.
