GT Tire & Service Center

I was going to GT Tire for years. Just recently my car was diagnosed with a cracked radiator and fluid leaks. Got a second opinion and did not have those repairs, only a leak in my motor mount, which cost $300. Not the $1,068 GT Tore quoted me for. At oil changes they never topped off my fluids and they were empty. GT Tire just lost my being a customer. Shame. I trusted them and am hurt.

Every time I come here they are unorganized and unprofessional. They over price you on services and when you go to other auto shops in Meriden they are way cheaper. Another auto shop was able to do the job for $200 cheaper, I told them this and they called the other shop Safe Auto and told them not to fix my car. I know this because the mechanic told me they called him and he showed me their phone call wow! I do not recommend doing business with them, they are untrustworthy. The old lady owner and the son mechanic constantly lies when I showed proof they lied, they make up something else. Why would I want someone to work on my car when they can’t admit when they make a mistake. I can see from previous reviews this is a continuous thing in their business.

I rated with 1 because one of the workers was comprehensive, but the owner is not nice and like to raise the voice when you make questions that any customer have the right to ask about the work if going to be done.They take deposits and give you receipts, that said that is only refundable with invoice, but when you go with the invoice and receipt; they say that they can't because it was a deposit for a part of the car and it's a special order. The invoice don't said that it was a deposit for a part of the car and either said that is a special order and special orders aren't refundable. They are disorganized and not clear on the warranty or the rights. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Be aware????
