I have NEVER in my life, received better service, honesty, and care! The unbelievably intelligent, capable and kind men at A C Transmission and Auto Repair are the ONLY place you should ever take your vehicle to! Chris, the Dereks, owner Steve, and everyone else, went miles above and beyond to repair our vehicle when we broke down 4 hours from home. My fiance and I visited Denver for our anniversary weekend, and as we were about to get on the highway to return home to Grand Junction, our car completely lost power and would not move. the only car repair shop in coasting distance was A C transmission and auto. Thank God for that. After they ran a very thorough diagnostic, they came up with a solution, gave me a call told me the price and began the labor. Although what they had diagnosed was absolutely needing repair, unfortunately it wasn't what was keeping the vehicle from moving. Brought in my 2007 Chevy Express 1500. They quickly diagnosed the problem - same day. They gave me an estimate range before beginning work. Transmission needed pretty much a total re-build. I asked them to look over the engine and various other expensive components on the van before I gave them approval to proceed on the transmission. (I didn't want to spend upwards of $4k on an old van if it wasn't in great shape otherwise) They obliged, and rolled that diagnostic time into the price that was quoted for the transmission repair. The work was done well, quickly, and all information was communicated before making any decisions. Will definitely be my go-to shop for all thing transmissions going forward. Service: Transmission
